Optimal level for vitiman d
The vitamin D Council has lots of good information. Generally it's thought a level of around 100nmol or mid-range is good.
Just be aware that GP's often prescribe too little VitD to make a difference. So do you have your results for VitD ? If so post here and members can suggest a reasonable dose
My last test was 3 months ago with a level of 78
Are you supplementing ?
No marz not at the moment
Taking at least 3000 IU's could be helpful in increasing levels. It is fat soluble so look out for a capsule containing Olive Oil or take with the fattiest meal. Also take Magnesium and VitK2-MK7 as important co-factors. Re-test at the end of Spring to see where your levels are - you may then be able to reduce dose. If you have absorption issues then an under the tongue spray would be good - some contain VitK2-MK7 as well I take Healthy Origins from Amazon - 5000 IU's ....
Thank you marz you have been extremely helpful I have magnesium here and d3 not sure if it’s a olive oil capsule or not only bought it this afternoon. I will look into getting k2
