Muscle cramps and boils

Hi 2 week ago I was put on 100mcg levo and 20mcg liothyronine (t3) split into 2 doses one mor img and one afternoon . One week in I had severe pain in my lower leg on right side it progresses quickly and then I couldn’t put my foot down . I thought it was a dvt and went to dr who confirmed it wasn’t but didn’t give me any help. I have since got a very sore leg to the touch like it’s bruised but it feels like a burning sensation when I don’t touch it . I also now have developed spot like boils with yellow puss and very red and angry too 😢 I feel like a right mess just wondered if anyone else has had any of this or am I just an oddity ??? Thank you

Initially but didn’t feel well so for last 18 month I have been taking nature throid but unsupported by my Gp so I asked to be referred to professor in endo and he suggested cimbination of 100 levo and 20 mcg liothyronine . This has been for just 2 weeks

Were you well on Naturethroid? Are the doses equivalent? Are you allergic to any of the fillers in the levo or liothyronine?

Would be very suprised if leg pain and abscesses are related to thyroid meds. Ask for blood test immediately. Could be as a result of infected bites. Or if staphylococcus infection you need antibiotics now. Did doc do swab of pus? Have you been gardening, walking dogs in long grass, anywhere that you might have come into contact with MRSA (type of 'staph' bacteria). Visiting hospital. Whatever - get it checked
