Thank you SeasideSusie for these very helpful links and thank you Craigmhor39 for asking the question. I’ve already sorted a magnesium tablet which suits me, but I was struggling to get my head around probiotics... I don’t know if I’m getting there, but I’m certainly en route now!

There are some decent multi-strain probiotics so you could check that they contain those that you need (or at least some of them.) It's also said to change them occasionally.

Thank you! At least I now know which good bacteria I’m looking for and feel inspired to ferment something in the ‘onggi’ ( home fermenting pot) bought as a present by my daughter.
