I take Potassium supplements daily, and I am due to have an appointment with the endocrinologist tomorrow where they are likely to take a blood test. Please can you experienced hypothyroid people advise me whether taking the potassium supplements may skew the result? Unfortunately my appointment is at 2.30pm in the afternoon, so the TSH is already likely to be lower than it would be if it was taken in the morning. Thank you in advance for your opinion!

I cannot answer your question but I'd tell the Endo that your TSH will have reduced due to having a p.m. test. He probably is unaware of his fact I hope he doesn't adjust your dose according to the TSH.
