Anxiety

I’m under active on 50 mg of t4 and 20 mg T3 , latest blood test show tsh level that I’m over medicated . But suffering bad anxiety , just wondered if anyone could recommend any medication that hasn’t got bad side effects. , prescription or natural . Thank you

It would be best to post your last thyroid test results (with ranges) and members will be in a better position to advise.

Tsh 0.07 (0.35-4.94) serum free T4 level 14-00 (9.01-19-05)

If you are on t3 you need free T3 results the other are not really relevant. You'd expect very low TSH and mid range or lower free T4, which is what you have, but free T3 in top quarter fo range - which we don't know. Get a private test done by Blue Horizon or Medichecks if your GP won't test free T3 even though you are taking it.

Did you take T3 before your thyroid blood test? What are your TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges?

Only tested Tsh and free t4 .

TSH is mildly suppressed and FT4 is mid-range but without FT3 result it's not possible to say whether or not you are overmedicated. Certainly suppressed TSH of itself does not mean you are overmedicated. You can order a private FT3 test via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin... Leave 8-12 hours between last T3 dose and blood test.

If you are on T3, TSH does not matter (and the tests were designed for people on levo only). What were your free T3 results? You also need to know B12. folate, ferritin and D3 as some of your symptoms can be caused by less than optimum levels of those.
