Hi I hav'nt posted anything for over year long long journey.had TT ten weeks ago due to thryroidits overactive nodules. At moment takeing 75mcg of levothyroxine feel dreadful had to lower dose from 100mcg felt overactive sympoms now taking 75cmg feel overactive any time starting again blood results Free t4 15.4 T3 7.86.TSH 0.48 can any give me there opinion on these result hate this levothyroxine thanks

Can you post the FT4 and FT3 lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after the results)?

FT3 7.86 is usually over range and could make you feel hyper. Reducing dose will drop FT3 level and should improve symptoms of overmedication. It will speed up washing out of 100mcg dose if you skip Levothyroxine for 2-3 days.

Thank you so much for your reply the way I'm writing my blood results is way it's printed out it's all I have free t4 15.4 pcmo/I NR (7.86-14.41)+TSH 0.48 that's how results printed.thank

FT4 15.4 (7.86 - 14.41) is over range ie higher than 14.41. I've not seen FT3 ranges higher than 7.0 in UK so it's reasonable to assume that 7.86 is also over range.

TSH 0.48 is almost always within range.

In future, ask for the lab ref ranges along with your results as that is the only way people can interpret whether results are within range or abnormal.

Thank you so much for your advise really feel as bad as I did before TT overactive sympoms and did actually feel like stoppng Levo for few days.

Stopping Levothyroxine for a few days will speed up washing out of the higher dose and allow FT4 and FT3 levels to drop.

Did you have a total thyroidectomy? 100mcg is a low dose to overmedicate someone without a thyroid gland.

Yes total TT on what I've read is it's your liver and small bowel that absorbs Levo as I've had multiple bowel operations two colostomy and reverest very very slow digestive track thought my be Levo building up in my system just thought

Levothyroxine is supposed to build up in your system. Normally one would expect bowel operations and slow digestion to reduce absorption of Levothyroxine.
