My Dsighter has been suffering from depression and was prescribed anti depressants by her Uni doctor. I asked our own GP to conduct some blood tests and the results are fine except:
Very low Vit D which they’re treating. And her TSH which is
0.995 range ( 0.38-5.33) is this low? They didn’t do T4?
Thoughts? x

Is your daughter on thyroid medication? Either way, for full evaluation she needs FT4,FT3, TSH and thyroid antibodies TPO and TgAb testing. If not taking Levothyroxine then her TSH is low so GP may be willing to do full evaluation.
Sorry to interfere here but her TSH may not be fine and she should have the tests mentioned above by Nanaedake to find out why it is very low when she is not on any thyroid medication. I suffered for six months before getting a diagnosis, simply because my GP did not do the right tests. Best to be sure and ask to get them done.
Update. Spoke to doctor and had to make a non urgent appointment which isn’t until Feb 15th!! She started on the vit though so hopefully that will help and I’m paying for private CBT. xx
