I joined this site a year ago and the PA forum due to advice from people on this site. Thanks to all you amazing people I have taken control of my health not leaving it to the GP.

Despite GP telling me everything was normal I could see that my vitamins were bumping along the sea bed even though I have a balanced diet. I now take sublingual Bconplex, selenium & gentle iron & folic (liquid). Prescribed vitamin D. I am gluten free now.

My thyroid medication hasn’t changed But my energy levels & mental capacity has. My husband and children don’t worry about me anymore & people I haven’t seen for a while remark that I look well or my hair looks nice ( this is not compliments I would usually get).

So a massive thank you from me and a merry Christmas and Happy new year to you all

That's good news and it is great when we, finally, begin to recover our health - despite doctors and endocrinologist.

If symptoms return get a Full Thyroid Function Test so that you can rectify anything that is not at an optimum level.

It's amazing how different the correct dose or hormones makes us feel as at one time we don't think any will be resolved.

The correct knowledge unfortunately seems to be missing in the medical profession, particularly doctors and endocrinologists who are 'happy' when patients' TSH is within the range instead of 1 or lower.

You will have a happy Christmas with your family/friends.
