Welcome to our forum and I had never heard of this condition before. Neither have I seen it mentioned on the forum.

I don't take Vit D it makes sick when I take it. Just like when taking magnesium supplement. What happens is that I keep drinking water/ pee every 15 minutes over the night until morning. I'm not sure it is related magnesium or other minerals that are high or low.
I also had great difficulty tolerating vitamin D. But it was key to my improvement
Low vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 stop Thyroid hormones working
You are on relatively low dose Levothyroxine (especially for a male)
When you take vitamin D it probably is suddenly allowing thyroid hormones to work
One of the side effects can be as diuretic getting rid of swelling and mucin
What is your vitamin D now?
One option is to try tanning lamp or specific vitamin D lamp
(I did this more on my profile. It proved the symptoms were due to increasing the vitamin D, not the supplements)
Are you on strictly gluten free diet. Very likely to help
