D1O2 positive

Just been diagnosed with D1O2 positive enzymes I am hoping that with this piece of information my doctors will consider assisting me with a T3 supplement anyone else had this experience and what was the outcome ?

Hi, yes I did the DIO2 private test and it returned positive for faulty gene from one parent. I was already being prescribed T3 but my CCG was threatening to withdraw it. I printed out 6 copies of my result, gave one to my GP and did explain it fully (GPs are mega busy and can't always think straight). I also then had an appointment with an endo coming up, so took a copy to her. I was given a 6 months supply of T3 by the endo. Good luck
