Restarting T3

Hi I am new and thinking of restarting T3 since it helped me feel better. I take 150mcg levo is it best to start at half a T3 tablet or a quarter? Diagnosed 2011. Thanks

Free T4 16.5 (12 - 22)

Free T3 3.3 (3.1 - 6.8)

How much T3 were you taking and was it the same brand?

10mcg T3 and it was same brand

Your reply isn't showing on the forum but I have an email notification that you replied: 10mcg T3 and it was same brand

So, as your tablet is 20mcg I would resume 10mcg as you are undermedicated on your current dose of Levothyroxine.

Why did you stop taking it if you were feeling better?

Endo doesn't like me taking it

Yes I can imagine it is purely the cost which is too high in the UK. I never visit my Endo anymore I just self medicate myself and feel well and happy.

Before the GP and Endo's were making me feel ill, I asked myself why and decided to do something about it, but then that is just me.
