C Reactive Protein

Hi everyone. I’m really struggling with pain and stiffness at the moment. On my last blood test my C Reactive protein was 5.9 (range <5.0). Is this just a response to the autoimmune condition?

All that particular test indicates is that you have some sort of inflammatory illness. The other tests you had at the same time may indicate what it is likely to be.

Ok thanks. The tests indicated Hashimoto’s although my endo said that the antibodies mean nothing. Waiting for the results of a TSH receptor ab test
