Small goiter and pain
Samy3,
If your doctor thinks the goitre isn't causing the pain what investigations is s/he doing to find out what is causing the pain?
An inflamed goitre can cause pain and if it is pressing on a nerve that may be why you are having pain in your ear.
Thanks clutter for ur reply that's what I asked both of them and asked for the thyroid scan again and answer was oh its an expensive test I can't send u again
If its an inflamed goiter clutter how I can reduce the inflammation? Bcs doctors not listening
Samy3,
As your goitre is likely to have been caused by your hyperthyroidism and you are now euthyroid I'm not sure there is anything that can be done to shrink the goitre. If the pain is very intense and debilitating I think surgery is probably the only way to remove the goitre and you will then be hypothyroid.
Sometimes its intense and sometimes its dull ache I only get scared of pain especially when its coming from inside neck /throat area...
