Ive been given some blood tests to do by my gp, can someone explain what the following tests are for please:

INT, THYM

Intrinsic Factor Abs., Thyroid Microsomal

Savery8753,

Positive Intrinsic Factor antibodies confirm pernicious anaemia.

Thyroid Microsomal is another name for thyroid peroxidase antibodies which if positive confirm autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's).
