How long to get results from endocrinologist?

Went for blood tests last Monday at the endo clinic. How long do you usually have to wait to get your thyroid results. Am on levo and t3.

I had mine done whilst at endo appointment but 10 days later i had to ring, they hadnt sent throughto me -they sent them straight to doctors so i had to get them from med practice, you could always ring and ask.😊

Do you mean your GP? Maybe I shall ask them. They always charge 10pounds to get the results though.

Yes i had to get them from my gp but it doesnt cost ne a penny.😊

My endo gives me my results during our consultation. I'm not able to get them before.

My endo usually writes a clinic review letter to my GP after the consultation. It can take anything from 1 to 4 weeks for me to receive my copy.

You might want to check with endo's secretary whether endo writes to your GP and ask whether you can becopied in.

I very much doubt that your endo will send you or give you your results. They would be sent to your GP. You will have to either phone endo's secretary or go into your GP surgery and ask for them. We are legally entitled to have a copy of our blood tests, so if anyone argues with you, tell them you are legally entitled to have a copy

Thanks. Why don't they just put them on my patient.emisaccess? That would be so much more convenient.
