It will depend if you ticked the box for no doctors comments or not. You may not have even noticed that box! It will either be a few days or with doctors comments up to a 6 days.

Yes i am.having doctors comments

Possibly up to a week in that case. The comments really aren't worth it especially if you are posting results here.

My test has not yet arrived at medichecks maybe i can get in touch and ask them to ticl that for me.Would you advise to have no comments then, ans have you recieved comments before

I got the comments the first time as I wasn't aware about it's time affect and didn't even notice it when I bought the kit. It did delay my results though and they won't have any sway with your GP. If you get abnormal results your GP will want to repeat the test.

I'm already diagnosed and treated so was for my own reference and that of my private Endo. If your GP wants to repeat the tests then it's very unikely the FT3 will be done. NHS doctors tend to go off TSH alone mostly, rarely FT4.

I see thank you.i had a previous basic test with monitor my health which just tested ths ft3 and ft4 which said mild underactive thyroid. So bit unsure if i need comments on this medichecks test. Not sure how detailed comments may be as first time with detaiked medichecks test.Still unsure now actually as i could ammend

The comments are really for your own use and an NHS GP would not concider them relevant.

What were your last results with ranges?

Ok thank you my results wereTsh 4.73Ft4 12.9

Ft3 4.4

The ranges are the numbers in brackets next to your result number. They are different at different labs so you need to tell us what your labs are.

Your TSH is likely slightly above range. You need 2 results like that on the NHS to get a diagnosis. Hopefully if you get a similar result this time with Medichecks your GP will repeat the test. Did you do the test at 9am?

if you posted it yesterday…..it probably won’t arrive at lab until tomorrow

You might get results Thursday…..bit longer if you didn’t say “No” to Dr comment on results (which isn’t worth waiting for)

Did you send it back by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm Next Day? If so it should have been delivered today (you can check with their Track and Trace) and you should get your results in 24-48 hours if you ticked the box for results only without doctor's comments (shown in image below).

If you sent back using just the Tracked 24 service (as on the return envelope) it may not be delivered today, there's no guarantee, but the instructions tell you to make a note of the tracking number so again you will be able to check with RM's Track and Trace web page.

If you are having doctor's comments then it could take 2-5 days to get the results sent to you.
