Anybody who knows how long you'll have to wait to see an endocrinologist once the referral is sent?

How long will a referral to endocrinologist take?
Depends on the hospital, call the appts dept and ask how long the waiting list is, if you find a hospital with a shorter list then ask your GP to be referred there. You are probably looking at several months anyway.
My hospital in North Lincolnshire is 12 weeks on paper but receptionist told me it's more like 14. Having said that for my first appointment I got a call in to grab a late cancellation spot after just 2 weeks. Now I have been seen I do have to wait the 14 weeks for my next visit.
I was referred in April this year and have to wait until September for first appointment. I was told waiting list is 142 days. It will depend on where you are though.
24 weeks and my dr has now referred me urgently and still not going to be seen soon
You should be offered choose & book, you can then select where: when you go. I chose somewhere 40 miles away but got an appointment within 3 weeks.
My first referral took 3 months, and repeat appointments have a 7 month wait in between. So get all your questions in (and get answers!) when you get your appointment!
