I am experiencing sore eyes and using drops from the chemist for dry eyes. I know that people with Graves disease can have eye problems but I am hypothyroid with Hashimotos. Has anyone any idea what is going on.

Sore eyes
Caze,
First bit of advice - ensure that whatever drops you use (or cream or any other eye product), it needs to be preservative-free. For reasons that are not entirely clear, (that means, I have no idea why!), people so often are fine on products with preservative if used occasionally, or for the first few weeks or months of use. Then they become sensitive to them.
When I became hypothyroid, I suffered dry eyes and discomfort. I used Visco-Tears in single dose units (the multi-dose packs contain preservative) several times a day and Lacri-Lube at night. Between them, they made a big difference. There are several other products which people might recommend - fine, you need to choose which one(s) to use.
It’s quite common, especially if not on high enough dose
Particularly at night
I have been using Hypromellose eye drops over 20 years, now finally improving on high enough dose T4 and small amount of T3
