Njrcw,
If you post your recent thyroid results and ranges members will advise how much T3 to add to your Levothyroxine.
If members can recommend sources they will send you a private message as feedback can't be posted on the forum. To read a private message: support.healthunlocked.com/...

Looking back at your previous thread healthunlocked.com/thyroidu... your FT4 and FT3 are very well balanced at 32% and 33% through their respective ranges but your TSH is 2.143 (0.35-4.94). It's not T3 you need, it's an increase in Levo and to optimise B12, folate and ferritin.
Asked previously but I can't see that it's been answered - have you had thyroid antibodies tested?
Yes. Have tested negative for antibodies. I am just having issues with weight loss in that I’m not able to lose it. I am also now being treated with Cabergoline for a prolactinoma. I did visit Dr Peatfield and am taking Metavive and Adrenavive, along with trying to boost my vitamins etc. I am currently on 75mgs and 62.5 mgs on alternate days. I have tried increasing my Levo to 75 every day but I seem to get headaches. I just keep reading that adding a small amount of T3 will boost my metabolism.
My latest UK test results As at September 2017 are as follows
Tsh 2.8 (0.27-4.2)
Free T4 14.6 (12-22)
Free t3 4.2 (3.1-6.8)
I did see an Endocrinologist who prescribed the Cabergoline for the Prolactinoma but he didn’t say anything about my Thyroid. He suggested I eat more to increase my metabolism, which I am trying to do. I don’t drink and am a vegetarian so I don’t have much in the way of an exciting fatty or tasty diet but I managed to put on 6lbs in a week eating normally. I am always tired. The Endocrinologist says it shouldn’t be so difficult to sort out the TSH but I’ve been trying to get my TSH below 1 for a year now.
My previous results posted were from blood results in France where I was working on reducing my TSH and the previous reading in France was 1.4 (0.350-4.94) which I thought was going in the right direction. The units are different. My uk blood results were taken two days later at a private consultation, and in the evening. I have been prescribed L-thyroxin (Henning) now 75mcgs as there has been a problem in France with the formula for the product produced by Merck. What is The difference between 75mgs of Levothyrox by Merck which I have loads of and 75 mgs of l-thyroxin or should I just get rid of the old Levothyrox and start on the new tablets.
Also had my SHBG tested 145 (32.4-128). But reading up on it it says could be caused by too much thyroid hormone. How can my TSH be 2.8 and be undermedicated with my shbg at 145 suggesting too much medication. Gp asked why Endo was testing for this and Endo didn’t say anything.
Thanks in advance for any advice
