Hashimato and staying pregnant.

My antibodies are very high

I stupidly googled some things which say

The antibodies can kill the baby.

How on earth do women go on to have successful babies if this is true?

My tsh is raised to 5.4 but t4 is 19

My dose has been increased and I'm on vitamins

What else can I do? It's so scary

Your GP may need to refer you to an endo to look after you during your pregnancy I believe. For a successful pregnancy TSH should be below 2

See British Thyroid Foundation information about pregnancy and Hypothyroidism

btf-thyroid.org/projects/pr...

You should go and discuss this with your GP and ensure you are looked after properly for the sake of your baby's health.

What vitamins are you on?

As you have high antibodies I presume you are aware that you have Hashimoto's. Are you strictly gluten free and supplementing with selenium L-selenomethionine 200mcg to help reduce the antibodies? Keeping TSH suppressed also can help reduce antibodies.
