Ferritin is too low for thyroid hormone to work properly and good conversion to take place. It needs to be at least 70, preferably half way through it's range. You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...
What about other nutrients? Vit D, B12, folate? All need to be optimal for thyroid hormone to work.
Anxiety can actually be a symptom of hypothyroidism. And there's nothing at all in your results to show you are going 'overactive'.
What dose of B12 are you using? Your neurological issues might be because your level is still too low. Are you also taking a B Complex to balance all the B vitamins?
Has folate been tested?
What is the unit of measurement for your Vit D - nmol/L or ng/ml? Are you supplementing with D3?
As for your results being 'normal', that just means they are within the range, it doesn't mean they are optimal which is what we need to feel well, and the optimal level is very individual.
Tsh .73 .35-4.94
This is actually quite good.
Ft4 17 8-22
is 64% through it's range
Ft3 3.90 range 2.63 - 5.67 is 41% through it's range
And your T4:T3 ratio is 4.35 to 1
TSh should be 1 or below and FT4/FT3 in the upper part f their respective reference ranges and in balance. Your FT3 is too low. For good conversion of T4 to T3 the ratio needs to be 4:1 or less. You might need some T3 added to your Levo.
However, you first of all need to get all your nutrients up to optimal levels which are:
Vit D - 100-150nmol (or 40-60ng/ml) according to the Vit D Council
B12 - very top of range, even 900-1000
Folate - at least half way through it's range
Ferritin - half way through it's range with a minimum of 70 for thyroid hormone to work
Spatone works for some people, not all, the actual amount of elemental iron is quite low. However, you can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...
With your B12, are you taking a B Complex to balance all the B vitamins? If you get a decent one such as Thorne Basic B that will help raise folate level if that isn't optimal.
You haven't answered if your Vit D is ng/ml or nmol/L. If it's ng/ml you are just on the lower level of the recommended range. If it is nmol/L you are very low and in the deficiency category. If you say what the unit of measurement is then suggestions can be made what to take. Don't underestimate the symptoms of low Vit D.
