Hi, I have a low t3 result, and a new recommended endo at salford and his telling me that t3 may be what I need will not write out a prescription for it. Saying that it's on line. Now my dermatologist has put me on protopic and opthalmologist has given me ikervis I still can't obtain ndt.

Have you any resultsyou can post? Not only thyroid ones but Vit D, B12, folate and ferritin? If you have a high in range FT4 reading and a low FT3 reading then you probably aren't converting well. I have reversed this by getting the other results optimal but it can take time to do but well worth the effort. Took me around 5-6 months but it dependshow low thingsare asit the time to improve them.

Hi, I've just managed to get t3 but don't know what to take along with 100 t4. Can you offer me any help.

I wouldn't like to hazard a guess. I take NDT so it's already a mixture of both and I can never remember what the ratio is though it's best to add the T3 slowly. so your body gets used to it. May be you can use the search fascilities on how to add T3 to T4 if no one makes a suggestion.
