TSH blood results 1.84mU/L

Hi,

Been feeling run down, achy and had a scary incident last week while exercising - basically my body refused to 'go' and I almost fainted. I am someone with high levels of fitness and I was understandably a bit alarmed by the three day recovery for 10mins exercise.

Had bloods done and asked about thyroid (my mum has underactive). Free T4 & T3 weren't tested. Maybe I just have a lingering virus??

You really need FT4 at least testing as well, preferably FT3 too. TSH alone can't rule out secondary hypothyroidism which is where TSH is normal and free Ts low.

Welcome to the forum, Syl_Lou.

It could be a virus or could be that your T3 level is low.

TSH 1.84 is normal but doesn't guarantee FT4 and FT3 levels are normal. You can order a private thyroid test to check TSH, FT4 and FT3 via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
