Good result and sensible approach to dosage. Since you have autoimmune hypothyroidism you hormone levels may fluctuate as your thyroid could flare up a little until it finally dies away. So there's a chance your levels may jump around a bit for a year or two.
You should feel better in a few weeks although it usually takes about six months for patients to fully recover.
Suggest you ask for ferritin, folate, iron, Vit B12 and Vit D to be tested as with such high antibody levels you are likely to have leaky gut and hence absorption problems. Also suggest you try Gluten free diet to "damp down" the anitbodies. It could take a while for you to feel better with the results you have posted taking a while to improve. At least the GP isn't being overly cautious re treatment with levo. When you have your next test for thyroid levels do not take your medication in the 24 hours before the blood test. Have the test as early as possible in the day and do not have anything to eat and drink only water until after test.
Do you have blood results? What supplements are you taking. Often the doses are not high enough. I have to take 5000mcg methyl cobalamin at least 5 days per week to maintain my B12 at 1000. I also take 2000IU per day of Vit D3 with vit K. My level is about 110.
800 IU is what most docs give for Vit D deficiency, that is useless. Also anyone receiving Vit B12 injections is often only getting it once per 3 months instead of monthly. NHS is happy to keep us ill! Do get bloods tested before supplementing. Seaside Susie on here is very good with advice about how much to supplement.
Oh Dear, all woeful, you have to be at the top of range for B12, above the range for Vit D (800 will never get you there) and yet to be expected when you have raised antibodies (Hashimotos disease) Take a look at the columns to the right of this post and you will see a list of topics. Click on Vitamins and you will see posts, probably some by Seaside Susie.
