Iam new and like to know on hypothyroidism

Iam hypothyroid for the past 10 years. But iam loosing weight just like a hyperthyroid person. When i reduce the dose the thyroid level of TSH , T3, T4 increases .

Some hypothyroid patients lose weight and some hyperthyroid patients gain weight.

If your thyroid levels are within range you are not biochemically overmedicated. When you reduce dose TSH should rise but T3 and T4 should drop.

I was advised to eat frequent small meals to prevent weight loss and I found protein shakes in between meals helped me gain some weight.
