What were your blood test results? Did you have antibodies checked?

We need reference ranges to interpret test results, ranges vary from lab to lab so we need the ranges from your lab.

I would ask for thyroid antibodies to be tested to check for autoimmune thyroid disease. There are two types - Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) and Thyroglobulin (TG). The NHS rarely do TPO and almost never do TG unless an endo requests it. You can be negative for TPO but positive for TG so it's important that both are tested.

Your TSH and FT3 are good, your FT4 is low.

I've no idea what it is but I think you should get antibodies tested.

Nat89, ask for an ultra sound of your neck. They can determine if you have nodules on your thyroid. If it looks like they will need to do a follow up, then they will. But no, having a lump on your neck is not normal nor is it ok.wishing you the best, Littlebowpeep

Request a biopsy.

If you have 2 nodules why aren't they removing at least them if not your entire thyroid?

I had one nodule that biopsied inconclusive so I had my entire thyroid removed. I never even had a lump nor could you feel the nodule, it showed up by accident on an ultrasound of my neck that I was having for something else.

Your's is so obvious, they should be doing something about it!
