My supply of naturethroid ran out. There was a problem with my private prescription and I've been round in circles trying to sort it out.
In the meantime I had some WP that I had in the back of the cupboard and I started that this morning.
Previously i was on 5/8 grain in the morning and 1/4 grain in the afternoon with naturethroid. Today I only took 1/4 grain of WP in the morning and same for afternoon dose.
Head felt a bit weird in daytime but ok. Had a very active day however this evening my temperature is very low at 35.88. It's never this low.
Question is should I up WP tomorrow exactly where I was on naturethroid? Anyone else done this switchover and what was your experience?
Feel freezing tonight.
Thank you.

I tried both NDTs, & slightly preferred WP as I felt it was slightly stronger. Even if you found this, too, the dose you took was less than your usual dose. 3/4 Garson would be closer. Also, the WP you've had In a cupboard might be less effective if it was old. As the T4 component needs to convert, in a day, I'm imagining you'd only drop the T3 component of a few micro grand. I've no idea how much this would affect your temperature in one day. It took about 48 hours for me when I foolishly missed a dose then changed meds with a drastic T3 reduction.
Thanks for coming back to me. My WP wasn't that old - i had it as a back up in case Naturethroid didn't agree with me. I haven't been on NDT for that long, started in July I think it was.
I have definitely felt a difference in less than 1 day and feel WP to be slightly less strong. I've therefore upped my dose today by a 1/8 grain added to this afternoon's dose. Much more tired, colder and achy neck/shoulders (which I know now to be an indicator of being underdosed).
Two days in, I prefer Naturethroid as it makes me feel less tired. On WP though I think I'm less hungry. Be interesting if I lose some weight - on NT I was putting on weight albeit slowly.
Will see - I'd rather not have changed over at this point but needs must.
