Time of day?!

Hi, just wondering when people who take T3 do so? I've been taking mine in the morning and T4 in an evening. Didn't know if it would be best to take them both at same time?

I used to divide T3 into 2 doses and took the first with Levothyroxine in the morning, and the second at bedtime. Take everything in the morning now.

I used to split my T3 into two doses, which meant that I couldn't look forward to an afternoon cup of coffee with a biscuit. Tried a single dose on waking, felt no difference so have stuck with it.

Levo I take in the early hours when I need the bathroom. No particular reason for doing so, just done it for so long that it's routine now, but it does keep it well away from supplements.

Thanks for info, will experiment. Why couldn't you have afternoon coffee?

'Cos coffee affects absorption of thyroid meds (caffeine) and I like a milky coffee so again anything other than water must be taken an hour away from thyroid meds. And of course thyroid meds should be taken on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food, it was just too much juggling about for me.
