Shortness of breath and leg pains

Are shortness of breath, leg pains and swelling symptoms of thyroid. I had 3/4 thyroidectomy back in 1999 and relatively stable treatment until 12-18 months ago. Following starting acupuncture for neuro treatment after a stroke 2.5 years ago my thyroid levels changed (don't remember which way other than they wanted to decrease my dose to 75 from 100). I had no symptoms of it being over active so was surprised after all this time.

I did use to take supplements of sea kelp, selenium and zinc which i agrees to stop and this brought my levels back to range gp was happy with.

I am now gaining weight again and also have the shortness of breath and leg pains. Could this be thyroid related?
