Winnie, I'm sure many of us share your thoughts but you are the one making it work. I'm glad your GP is becoming more thorough. There is so much to learn so keep up the good work.

This man has helped me so much and similar to a bulletin board I followed for years by a brilliant doctor who clued us all in that conventional medicine was veering off into pharmaceutical land which would not be in our best interests. He was so right. If you have time:

Hi Winnie, sounds like you have done a lot of hard work with your doctor! Getting your T3 done on the NHS is no mean feat. Post your results when you get them and you'll get some good advice.

Gp visit today ,they phoned me concerning blood tests.....different gp grrrr...when I asked for blood results flicked screen and pointed to 4.5 for t3 said in range but didn't want to discus range.said high peroxide antibodies again no results for me the patient to view. And lab didn't even send/test for pariental cell antibodies.so frustrated one step forward and still need repeat bloods. After acting like a crazy lady demanding more investigating gp felt my enlarged throat and to my amazement refered for scan next week.hopefully my regular gp will be more informative on my next visit, pending scan.Think ive been suffering thyroid longer than gp aware.

it is possible not many people will have seen your reply above - as technically you replied to your own post ! I was just looking through your old posts before replying :-)

You are legally entitled to have copies of all your Test results so you can monitor your own health and it makes posting here easier too !

When you have all the figures start a new thread with a new post :-)

You have Hashimotos - but guess you know that. Are you gluten Free ? What supplements are you taking ? Have you had B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD tested ?

Not what you're looking for?
