Blood test for antibodies came back as high!

Hallelujah, at last! They are starting me on medication immediately, Ill find out when I go to chemists to pick up prescription! At last I can hopefully start to make some headway with all my problems, it might take a while but I just feel so relieved that Im not going mad! Hope my original doctor feels bad prescribing me anti depressants and telling me its just the menopause!!!

Well done you. Im sure you will have many replies.xx its like a weight lifted.😆but sorry you have high antibodies, i too have them but picking my results for high antibodies later.x

I know you're gluten free, but you can also help reduce the antibodies by supplementing with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg daily, and keeping TSH suppressed helps as well.

That's great news ! these are included in my private tests - my GP didn't test for antibodies did you request it and I forgot to ask you was your first NHS basic test in range according to gp? Only asking because we are so similar symptoms wise it's unreal...hope the meds start working for you soon Hun x

Yes i requested it after reading advice on here, so pleased i did. My other levels came back as "normal" from gp so i then requested this test. I would have then tried the private test x
