Hi. Tried to access my online test results Friday as id forgotten to ask for a copy at the surgery but when i looked that part was removed. It said no available at the moment. The strange thing is that i did have access until a month ago when the system locked me out and i had to request a new password.
Has anyone else been denied the test result section?
Wonder if they are blocking anyine who has had thyroid tests and then have questioned results and asked for print outs! Most odd...
I thought all surgeries had to offer this now?
Thanks

I would simply ring the surgery and ask them to restore enhanced access for blood test results which you had before your password change. It's probably an oversight unless they give you another reason for it. You're correct in thinking you are entitled to access to your results. The only exception is if the GP deems that it would be detrimental to your mental wellbeing or health but if you had access previously then clearly that is not the case.
Yeah me too. I got worried and thought it may be that id questioned in past why thyroid hormones were'nt tested and how could they know my thyroid health if they wont test T4/T3 etc only TSH etc . . .i have a recollection than another member had trouble getting test results online too. Thanks your reply 😊
If it says not available at the moment it may be a simple technical hitch, they should at least be able to tell you if access had been removed over the phone or whether they are just having problems.
Yes i can ask them. The message is just 'detailed coded record' unavailable. Its just strange that it was there but now its not. Anyway i will wait to hear what they say. Everything else is still there including patient summary . Thanks f
