Yes. It is the very original NDT - Armour Thyroid. I shall give you a link and I think it is the most expensive (members will respond if I'm wrong). There are also others and some are cheaper. Some doctors (private) will prescribe NDT.

If you are in the UK the BTA have made False Statements about NDT and I shall give you a link. Many people do not feel well on levothyroxine and have continuing clinical symptoms but recover on NDT or even T3 added to T4 (levo).

The above doctor, Dr Lowe (deceased) would never prescribe levothyroxine to any of his patients. Always NDT or T3 only for his thyroid resistant patients. He also stated that T3 added to T4 was better than T4 only.

Armour is NDT and it stands for natural dessicated thyroid hormones and is made from pigs thyroid glands. The very original has been in use since 1892 up to the present day. There are also others.

We are allowed to import NDT into the UK for our own use and I assume in Portugal you would be able to as well.

I have looked on your Profile page and there is no history of your journey with hypothyroidism.

When were you diagnosed? With what? i.e. hyper or hypo. What dose of levothyroxine do you take?

Can you get a print-out of your latest blood test results. Did your doctor test all of your vitamins/minerals, i.e. vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. You can get them taken at the same time as your next blood test for thyroid hormones. We need everything to be 'optimum'. The aim is a TSH of 1 or lower with FT4 and FT3 towards the upper part of the range.

I am new here, my first day today.

I was diagnosed with subclinical hipo, at 2010, I take levotiroxine 0,5mg since then. But don't feel better. I do blood tests every six months and according to the doctor t4 levels are ok

You can add them below as your post hasn't been up long.

Any other times post them when you open a new post as you did when you started this question. :)
