Where to buy T3

Hi, well it finally happened, my GP and Endocrinologist have stopped prescribing my T3.

I was expecting this so I had bought some whilst on holiday in Greece last year.

As I understand it supplies are now hard to come by so I wondered if anyone had any other reliable sources where to buy from ?

If you have a clinical need for T3 they are not supposed to stop prescribing. If you've not signed the Petition for T3# Campaign which is within the Pinned Posts on the right hand side. Also make an appointment to meet with your local MP to complain.

Those who have info re where to source T3, they will respond by Private Message as information must not be posted on the open forum.

Thanks for the quick reply, I have already signed the petition and am writing to my MP .

I am hopeful that someone will pm with a supplier .

Is there any information I could take to my endo showing that they should not stop prescribing if I have a clinical need ?

in the management of primary hypothyroidism) showing exactly how much liothyronine is costing the NHS, Clinical Commissioning Groups have been stopping patients from being prescribed T3 and doctors and endocrinologists have been withdrawing patients' prescriptions of T3. Thyroid UK believes this to be outrageous and unethical.
