I need your advice. I plan to switch from Levothyroxine, 100mcg to German Thybon, 20mcg. A little nervous about the transition.
For the last few weeks I have been taking 100mcg of Levothyroxine and felt a bit more energetic but I feel Levo is not doing much at all for my symptoms and weight gain is simply ridiculous.
Any advice of how I should switch? Should I continue taking, say, 50mcg of Levothyroxine and start taking 5mcg of Thybon as well? Or just switch to Thybon?
Any tips would be much appreciated.

It will help members advise if you post your TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges since you've been taking 100mcg Levothyroxine.
20mcg T3 is equivalent to 60mcg Levothyroxine so a straight swap will leave you undermedicated. If FT3 is low adding some T3 to your 100mcg should be sufficient.
