Newbie - updated post now with ranges.

I posted my results few days back but didnt pop the ranges so have updated post.

Free T4

13.7pmol/L

Range (8.0-21.0)

TSH serum

2.30mU/L

Range (0.20-5.00)

Grateful for help interpretating if good/bad.

Most people feel better when their TSH is around 1.0 or a little lower and FT4 near top of range but you really need an FT3 result too as your FT3 needs to be high in range too. Without that, it's hard to say precisely what's going on. Just going by the FT4 and TSH it looks like you have room for an increase in dose.

Thanks my GP doesnt do T3.. they only do TSH & T4..thou give me antidepressants no probs!

Yep, sounds par for the course. If you can afford it you can get it done privately through online lab but in this instance I would just try dose increase unless you feel well right now in which case leave it alone.

If you have symptoms. Get doc to check vitamin status. Many of us are deficient in Vit D, folate, ferritin and B12.
