cant try for a baby until.....

finally got my tsh to 0.33 but dr reduced my 50mg a day to every second day for fear of hyper

than after 5 weeks time my check up said my tsh is now 59!! and t4 8

so I'm not allow to try for a baby or ill miscarry again.

My dr says to have 50mg a day and x2 days a week have a 100mcg

Do you think 50 is too small dose? Its gonna take me ages to be in range at that rate?

Shouldn’t I be on 100 a day??

Any advice pls!! desperately want my baby

I thik you need to see a new doctor as yours hasn't got a clue and you'll be past menopause before your levels are good with that one. 0.33 was fine as long as your Ft4 and Ft3 were good. You need to give ranges for the results for people to comment.

What were your blood results on 50mcg (with ranges)? Do you have a gynae consultant you can talk to?

When my tsh was 0.33 my t4 was 18

When my tsh was 59 last week my t4 was 8

Ranges? The numbers in the brackets after the numbers you've given. All labs are different so there is no way to tell where in the range those results are. The original results on 50mcg were probably good, but need ranges to tell. When pregnancy is confirmed you usually get/need an increase in levo. Go back on 50mcg every day and get a restest in 6 weeks.
