Baffling lymph node and thyroid nodule - could possibly be lymphoma

I have been to see a private consultant today after being with NHS for 3 months... I had ultrasounds and biopsies on this lump and a harder one on my thyroid. Came back as "highly suspicious" . The guy today wants to rule out lymphoma - all previous results pointed to thyroid cancer but apparently that has no symptoms.. I am soooo tired, temperature swings, and generally feeling rotten. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Going for CT and MRI scans and more blood tests next week. Need to rule out lymphoma before any surgery. Not the quick fix I'd hoped for!!

Thyroid cancer is asymptomatic but you have autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) which can make you very symptomatic. I felt desperately ill with euthyroid Hashimoto's.
