T3 stopped, going to see Homeopath, they give animal thyroid

I think I'm going to delete all the useless medical papers I've saved on my p.c. - probably about 60. I've been doing research on homeopathy. They can treat hypothyroid and are able to prescribe sheep's thyroid if they think it appropriate. Go f..k yourself NHS. Sorry for the rant, but I've literally had enough of this. Every waking (& half sleeping) hours are spent mythering over my T3 prescription.

Hi I have never heard of sheep thyroid before I take pigs thyroid. Of course pigs thyroid does not give the same amount as a human. I am not sure regarding cows thyroid. Perhaps you know?

Quote from website of British Homeopathic Association

“It is not always possible to pin a remedy down and sometimes one can look at the clinical state of the individual as the result of a series of layers that need to be worked through, or be peeled away one at a time, using different remedies for each layer. Yet another approach is to use organ remedies. These are called sarcodes, remedies made from organs of healthy cattle, sheep or pigs, which are prepared in a variety of potencies. “

Thank you for posting this Marigold22, we learn something new everyday. :)

I have made notes of your Homeopathic link to keep, it might come in handy. I have started seeing a Chiropractor who has de registered them self so they can practice (revolutionizing health,) outside of the set chiropractors rules. I was told they can get me back to where I was before having my medical issues, which included my thyroid problems, I am sitting on the fence on it, but like to feel it could be possible, we can cure diabettes, 97% of cancer and many other illnesses now by nutrition alone, so it is well worth a try. I hadn't thought much into homeopathy before I read your link about 'Homeopathy and Thyroid'

Please let us all know how well you do on sheep's thyroid, Marigold22. I was a little bamboozled about all the other types of homeopathic medication for all the different types of thyroid condition, but will go back and read it again. I checked out the price of sheep's thyroid medication and was surprised how cheap it seemed to be.

Coastwalker,

Your chiropractor would rightly be struck off for making those claims if s/he hadn't deregistered.

Type 2 diabetes may be reversed by diet and exercise but type 1 is autoimmune and is incurable. I think only a charlatan and snake oil salesman would claim 97% of cancer can be cured by nutrition alone.

Yes that's why they de registered themselves, apparently they were restricted in their healing methods, so felt it was the way forward to better healing. I am sitting on the fence on this one and will try anything once.

Oops! I was meaning diabettes 2, like my Mum had, (apologies Clutter,) I forgot there were two types as I wrote it, even though I know there are two types.

The '97% of cancer is curable' is quoted from The Truth About Cancer' by Ty Bolinger and other similar websites. People I have connections with personally have actually reversed their large lung and breast tumors to pea size by two different healing methods and their Doctors oddly were not really interested, I believe we are not being told the full truth about cancer and alternative cancer cures.

I too believe we are not being told the full truth about cancer and alternative cancer cures. My new homeopath confirmed that to me too

Thanks Coastwalker for your kind reply. I'm seeing a homeopath this Friday as my first appointment. I've read a fair amount now online about homeopaths and homeopathy. I wouldn't like to self medicate as it's a complicated subject, taking the whole person into account. I'm hoping he can find the correct combinations for me, perhaps seeing me once a month for a few months (he charges £35 for up to one hour) then tell me what to buy. I will post here how things develop.
