Please can someone help me...

I am a hashi sufferer and recently suffered 4 family deaths and work stresses, then nutri disappeared and I was without this for at least 5 months before eventually finding a substitute. I became badly Hypo.

However, since April I have been getting an abscess on my thigh , the doctor prescribes antibiotics it goes away I then get vomiting and diarrhoea but I ache, feel dizzy, and tired and get out of breath really quickly, and my eye sight is not so good, this has happened 3 times, the latest this weekend which included a bleed.

I called 111 who notified 999 who said I should come into out of hours services who then ran a urine test.

I am feeling so crap I could cry and I have to be at work in the morning because I will lose my job if I don't!

sorry to sound like a cry baby but I am at my wits end.

Hello Harle,

Oh I'm so so sorry for the loss of family members,I also lost two family, so I know grief, and stress levels go hand in hand, and they don't make our thyroid levels any good, and it seems you have had your fair share, of trauma, with Heath issues, I'm not qualified to give medical advice, but time is a great healer, and after you get through your grieving, just maybe your body will calm down, and hopefully you can overcome the health problems, I do hope so,

Keep strong, best wishes to you.

I know you don't want to lose your job but could you get signed off by the doctor for a couple of weeks so that you can look after yourself and try to pull things together.

You sound very unwell to me.

Has the doctor taken a new blood test to check your thyroid hormones, i.e. TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies? If not request them. He or lab may not do all of them. The ones that aren't you could get through one of our recommended labs. FT4 and FT3 give a lot of information as you will see from the following link:-

I have just started back to work after being booked off for about 4 months and my sick leave is through the roof, if I take more time off I will be fired.

I will chat with the docs tomorrow but I won't hold my breath. I have absolutely no help from them because everything they look at is normal.
