I've been noticing that my hair is thinning (might be because of vitamin d deficiency) and is my hairline receding? I'm almost 15 and I feel like my hairline is receding. Take a look.

Can you tell us a little about yourself? Have you been diagnosed with a thyroid problem and can post any results with their ranges
Ask your doctor for a copy of your results and start a new post with the ranges as well. The ranges are important as they differ from lab to lab so without them we would only be guessing. If you are in the U.K. you are entitled to see your results.
Also do you have any integer health problems or aches and pains. Usually we are low in vitamins and mineral and we need these to be optimal as well to get the Thyroid working properly so next time you are at the doctors ask for tests for Vit D, B12, folate and ferritin and they need to be optimal and not just in range. Like thyroid results it's where I. The range that matters.
I'm hoping your doctor had told you to go back in 6 weeks for more bloods. You have been started I'm presuming on a low dose of 25 or 50 mcg. It then takes 5-6 weeks to get that fully into your body so then you need to be tested and hopefully your results will have improved but you will most likely be given an increase. Increases are done in 25's so then after every increase you wait 6 weeks and then retest until you are at the right level for you.
When you take your medication you need to take it on an empty stomach with a full glass of water to wash it down to the right area for absorption. Then leave any food except water for another hour. Food hinders absorption and so do other meds but if you look at the Thyroid Uk sure who run this forum then there are it's of good info to help you on your journey.
Hair problems can be a symptom but first things first so get your medication right and things hopefully fall into place. Shout out if anything you don't understand and many happy to help.
Glad you have found us!
Try and get the tests that Silverfox suggested, nutrient deficiencies, especially ferritin can cause hair loss. Ferritin is stored in the hair bulb and if supplies are low your body will scavenge it to use for importamt organs and the hair will drop out. Low thyroid hormone also causes this.
The good news is it can be reversible, I fixed my poor nutrient levels and got my levothyroxine optimal and have definite signs of regrowth, the bits where your hairline has dips came back first 😀😀
