So... A big thing for me as I suffer with severe anxiety!!! But I went to my doctors today - listed all my symptoms and I'm due for a blood test Friday!! 😫

She is testing me for absolutely everything!! Thyroid included, celiac, b12, diabetes...so many things, some of which I don't understand or even know what they mean but watch this space!!

I am so anxious about having this done going to be a tough time for me up till Friday morning but at least eventually I will get some answers right?

I'm so proud of myself, I've wanted to have this done for the last year!! Go me ☺ x

One BIG step makes it easier to make small ones which will lead you to good health. The more you read/learn and aware of your body's need for more or less levo the better it will be :)

Well done.

I big congrats to you. Even without having anxiety it can be tough to go to a GP or locum and mention any symptoms. My experience is... they can make you out you're a hypocondriac (please excuse spelling) or as one GP said to me 'ah, yes... now you're a google expect and better than me'. In the end I got my Thyroid Function Test (despite being laughed at) and it came back with extremely high antibodies and TSH and I've been diagnosed with Hashimotos. Even if the tests rule things out it's a piece of mind. Good for you. You know your body better than anyone else and I wish we all had more luck with being listened to. I hope your tests come back and rule things out, and if things do come back you can now deal with them early. You must be well chuffed. A huge well done. Best wishes x
