Life after thyroid cancer, your best tips?

What are your best tips for living life well after thyroid cancer? My first best tip is to find the Levothryoxine that suits you and stick to it. Get it from an independent pharmacy rather than a GP dispensary where you have a qualified pharmicist who actually understands medicines and how they work. Independent pharmacies are not tied into contractual suppliers like GP Dispensaries and pharmacy chains so they can order what you need so long as the manufacturer is still producing.

That's interesting as my local independent will only supply Mercury Pharma despite my request for Actavis. They buy the cheapest apparently.

GP dispensaries have to employ qualified pharmacists but I guess they are restricted to the approved budget set by the practice. Pleased to hear that you get a good and empathetic service from your local independent.

Ok, so not all independents will oblige I guess? In our GP practice the doctors act as the pharmacist and if you try to get what you need the doctors say, 'nothing to do with us', the dispensers say,' we just do what we're told from above'. It drives me nuts as the one thing I need most of all is to maintain stability and delete any possible deviation.
