Hi there I have been to see endo in Notts he has prescribed T3 , Vit D, B12 & Testosterone! I am female & it's a very low dose! Anyone else had this prescribed & if so does it work?? 4by2

Women also need testosterone. I can't take it as it gives me 'roid rage, so I have DHEA instead. Most women who are deficient in it do well on it and get a sex drive back! If it makes you very, very angry (Hulk-smash-style angry) tell the endo and see about a switch to DHEA instead.

He's given it to me as a gel to rub on abdomen or thigh! Did you take it as a tablet??

When you say angry do you mean pmt angry? I've not tried it yet! How long after taking it did you become angry,! I'm going to the coast tomorrow with my grandchildren! Should I wait before trying?

Never had PMT. I mean like Bruce Banner when he turns green. Red mist descends and you just can't control yourself. I smashed lots of crockery and the cooker door, and the back door (on separate occasions), just because there was too much washing up and the door keys were in the wrong place and a tea towel was hanging wrongly on the cooker door. "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry ..."

Can't remember how long it took - less than a month.

How you get to endo??? I been asking my GP for referral but he said no. I am the patient and I would like to see endycronoligist. How can i speak with GP about it?
