Have you got a copy of your latest blood test results? Would you like to post the results here and then people can give you some sensible advice and suggestions? If you haven't got your blood test results you can get them from your doctor's surgery. You are entitled to them.

Hi Sunrise, you are probably right. Did you get your results from the GP? If you post then on here then people will be able to give you some advice.

Take care

Ask for a printed copy of your blood results with ranges and post on here. Someone will tell you if it is ok or not. 50mcg of T4 not a lot.

Also need to check vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12. If these are too low thyroid hormones struggle to be used

Also need Thyroid antibodies tested

Ok no i haven't got any results i just phoned up for them and yhe receptionist told me i dont really understand about it. I will make an appointment with my gp for some answers. Im feeling worse every day

Hi Sunrise.

I think that depends on when you had your last blood tests done. I don't know if there is any point in having more Thyroid bloods done if your dose hasn't changed. But why not get an appointment with any GP and ask for your nutrient levels to be tested asap. Then you should have your results of your Vitamin D, B12, Folate and Ferritin before you see your usual GP on 5th September.

I usually write lists of my symptoms and questions when I go to GP.

We can get a same day appoinment at our practice.

We have to phone between 10am and 12 for blood results. I usually ask them to read out all the figures to me over the phone while I write them down.

Thx yes did think about writing symptoms down maybe easier im gonna have to cancel that appointment anyway as we are away so better if i just see anyone for now. And get a copy of the test results also ask what others the done.
