Hi .

Has anyone tried any of the above seeds to improve thyroid function ?

I have a difficult Thyroid , not Hashimotos. I'm trailing a new way of eating and drinking as of tomorrow.

Thanks x

Millet is a goitrogen, so won't improve your thyroid function.

Are you going gluten-free? Why do you feel the need if you don't have autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's)?

You'll find plenty of articles if you search for "no such thing as a superfood" ;-)

I don't any see any difference eating those food. Millet for example has not effect whatsoever of my thyroid levels. Amaranth , well it's tasty but no difference. Chia seeds, Bleh but no difference.

No difference the way I feel either except millet is very gentle for stomach. I always soak it so it will cook well.

I eat China & linseed every day at home. I don't notice any difference re how I feel or TH intake when I don't eat these foods, aside from my digestion.
