Just had a call from my Dr saying that my TSH is under range .., She said the range is between 0.3-4.0 and I'm 0.06 BUT everything else is in range including my FT3.
When I went to see the lieing coward bumhole endocrinologist he said the main goal is to keep the TSH down, totally and deliberately ignored everything else as well as the questions I asked him regarding T4-T3 conversion ratios, RT3 and so on ?Well it looks like I'm keeping my TSH down (Well done Tiromel! At least that confirms that it's genuine stuff!! 👍🏼👍🏼)
I have never felt better, get the odd hot flush here and there but that's about it, lethargy, brain fog etc seems to be lifting and so on and a bonus bit of weight loss.
Would I benefit from lowering the T3 dose? I take 100mcg, 25-50mcg didn't have any effect as to feeling better etc.

Quasarlis Well, mmmmm, from my point of view..... I have very little respect any more for doctors where Hypothyroidism is concerned.
I have had my TSH as low as <0.005 (not a typo), it is currently <0.01 and the highest I've had it in recent years is 0.01.
I saw an endo 15 years ago, he didn't like my suppressed TSH. He reduced and reduced my Levo until my TSH came into range at 0.4. Whoopee!! He was such a happy man! Me - I was virtually bed ridden with an extremely low FT4 and FT3 at 2.8 with a range of 2.8-7.1 but that didn't matter, endo was happy, my TSH was in range!
So I refused to see him again, my GP said he was wrong and increased my Levo and I've had a suppressed TSH ever since. Not been well mind, so much damage has been done over the years.
Now I have a new GP, also TSH obsessed. Well, I'm not going back to that place I was in 15 years ago, so I ignore requests for thyroid tests, just get my prescription for Levo every month and buy my own T3 and do private testing.
Quasarlis - you have found something that works, you have said
"I have never felt better, get the odd hot flush here and there but that's about it, lethargy, brain fog etc seems to be lifting and so on and a bonus bit of weight loss."
If everything else is in range apart from your TSH then what's the problem? Are you willing to make yourself ill again?
Remember what Dr Toft says in his Pulse Onine Magazine article
"The appropriate dose of levothyroxine is that which restores euthyroidism and serum TSH to the lower part of the reference range - 0.2-0.5mU/l.
In this case, free thyroxine is likely to be in the upper part of its reference range or even slightly elevated – 18-22pmol/l. Most patients will feel well in that circumstance.
But some need a higher dose of levothyroxine to suppress serum TSH and then the serum-free T4 concentration will be elevated at around 24-28pmol/l.
This 'exogenous subclinical hyperthyroidism' is not dangerous as long as serum T3 is unequivocally normal – that is, serum total around T3 1.7nmol/l (reference range 1.0-2.2nmol/l)."
If you don't already have the article email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk and show it to your GP.
That's what I basically told her and that I have lost all faith in the NHS as far as my condition is concerned as in the past years they have just made it worse through the lieing and deceitful way they deal with us.
