I take Teva Levothyroxine. I take 75mcg in 2 tablets. One 50 and one 25. Lately I have been feeling nauseous dizzy light headed nervous etc (hyper symptoms) and I could not understand why. My 50s ran out and before I got new ones I took 3 25's to make up the 75 mpg dose for a few days and all the nasty symptoms went away immediately. I think that the 50's were too strong. and not the same as taking 2 25's. This is inconsistent and should not happen . I am going to try my new 50's when they arrive and if no good I will have to take 3 25's in stead. I am with a private doctor . Should I notify the company?
Same dose , same brand , side effects. - Thyroid UK
Same dose , same brand , side effects.
First, yellow card them:
Then notify whoever else you think you'd like to: pharmacy, doctor, manufacturer.
Don't automatically hand over any remaining tablets to Teva. Think carefully about who you trust and who you do not trust. Retain at least some so that you could send them again or to someone else if necessary.
Lots of people on here have had trouble with Teva

Good point only look at posts from last 3-6 months since Teva was reintroduced
I was taking Mercury Parma for many many years. It is recommended you stick with the same brand for two reasons if it works ok for you. One is that your don't want to risk another brand to find the slightly different fillers are causing a problem. The other reason is that the range in which the companies are allowed to work to could work out to vary the actual dose you take. It used to be plus or minus 10% which can make a huge difference if chopping and changing between one and the top and one at the bottom but I think it was 2009 it was narrowed to 5% so not too bad but still could be noticeable.
From day 1 I was prescribed all in 25's but then conscious at the 25's worked out more expensive decided to ask for 100's as well but still had loads of 25's to use up. I found that 2x25's wasn't the same as 1x100. So be away that could be the same with any brand. They aren't doing anything wrong if the dose is within the guide lines but there is no guarantee that you don't have a situation I found.
