Blood test results

Hi could someone help me please...these are my results from private blood test

I am hypothyroid and currently taking 100 mg levothyroxine but still have lots of hypo

symptoms, am I converting T4 to T3 ? Thank you in anticipation

Christdear - your conversion is poor at a ratio of 4.91 : 1 and good conversion takes place when FT4: FT3 ratio is 4:1 or less.

There can be a few reasons for poor conversion. Have you had vitamins and minerals tested, are they at optimal levels

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Supplementing with selenium L-selenomethionine 200mcg daily can help with conversion.

Thank you for prompt reply ....just had another blood test for vitamins and minerals
