Sounds good! Love your name on here! Mirrors how i feel! How long have you been on the high fat diet and have you stopped gaining weight?

I've been doing it about 2 or 3 weeks. I feel slimmer if anything. I have had energy for some exercise though for the first time in forever. Sticking to at least 1500 cals a day not over 1900, and aiming for 68g fat a day. It feels so strange adding fat to everything but it tastes good and fills you up. No cravings! I can't belive my generation was told not to eat fat and fill up on carbs. The harm that's caused!!!

Hi. It doesn't have to be very high fat, although our bodies do need a degree of fat. High protein is excellent for us. Processed carbs are very difficult for our bodies to break down, and are also very high in calories. The unused calories turn to get deposited in our system. Fat, and protein are lower in calories, and our bodies, can break them down easily. However, it's important to have fruit and veg for all the vitamins these provide. The natural sugars in these are ok. (good carbs). Since i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I eat a higher fat (protein) and fruit and veg diet. It certainly helps the waistline. Try Greek yogurt (natural). It's high in protein and extremely good for you.

Sneaked on the scales. Last time was over 13 stone (13 3 ish up and down) now 12 10 after breakfast! Won't get on again. As long as not gaining I am happy. Doubly happy to be losing.
